My friend in Pharmacy told me they like a mix of your disadvantaged circumstances, ATAR and UMAT. My UMAT was shit, I didn't have SEAS so yea.

I've always wondered why, they do  not even need to sit the other exams made for internationals ( like for Medicine, if you are a International, then you do some other exam..)
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Internationals should go to their own universities before getting special treatment here.

I know someone who i *think* got it.

They got less than 99 but not much if i recall correctly.

I think they had SEAS and went to a pretty shitty school in a pretty shitty area too.

Probably because the university actually makes money off them. I'm fairly certain Uni's make a loss for every Australian student they take. You pay a little, the government pays a decent chunk but it still falls short of the actual costs to educate you. So, they make it($$$) off International Students.

you are exactly right. thats what they do i pay shit loads. no joke
apparently there was only one student who got scholarship this year (pretty tough).

I would love to apply for SEAS but i can't cuz i'm international. I guess there are both
pros and cons about being international :S
