A decision was made to not have copyrighted material uploaded here anymore and I intend to respect that decision.

Anyway, do some searching on these forums. I've already got a collection of 30+ trial exams (the majority sourced from here).

If you want free trial exams, I strongly suggest iTute. I found I learnt a lot from their trials.
There's also TSFX which a lot of people don't like, but they're not terrible.
Engage Education should be uploading their Unit 4 trial exam soon as well. Their Unit 3 one was good.
Obviously there's VCAA (and checkpoints). You'd be an idiot to not attempt those ones.

So that's already about 15+ trial exams that are legally available for free.

If you're finding that you need more practice exams than what is already available, I would suggest that you're not maximising the amount of learning that can be done from each trial exam. Try to thoroughly understand every question, do trials exams more than once until you're getting 100% all the time (sure you might end up memorising how to do the question, but that's another exam skill to learn; to not look at a question and then immediately start thinking of the cookie cutter methods to get the answer).

After that, if you need more recent ones, pressure your teacher into getting more. If you don't have checkpoints (and don't want to shell out the money for it), borrow from the school or public library. If they don't have it, request them to get it.

If even then you've chewed through all the resources (unlikely), at that stage you probably would be able to make up your own questions.

We don't host trial exams on this website anymore.

And why would you openly state that it's you "again", you're only allowed 1 account on VN...

Also, we're going to be taking a more proactive role in weeding out copyright infringement. We've never endorsed it, and have immediately taken down reported threads, but we haven't been as proactive as we could have been in the past. VN is becoming noticed by the commercial sector of the education industry (more on that at a later date), and we need to be a lot more accountable. A copyright lawsuit will sink this website.

Posting of copyright material is now a bannable offense (though you will of course get warnings etc.) and we will be proactively searching out and taking these threads down.

I know we'll never stop you guys from sharing these resources, and we can't exactly ban people if they put "PM me for VCE resources!" in their signatures because we have no way of knowing whether or not those resources are legally shareable and we're not the thought police! But anything in the public domain (e.g. posts, notes section) will be scrutinised harshly.

It's a pretty fair decision and while it's kind of a negative that it's going to be harder to get a hold of 2011 trial exams, there's more than enough resources already out there, we just need to make better use of them. Personally I'm going to stop relying on trial exams to rote learn the course and actually learn and understand the course well. I guess that's kind of because I'm not really aiming for a 95+ atar score and 45+ study scores anymore (I'd be okay with a score of about 80; something I believe I could easily achieve, it'd still get me into science @ Monash or RMIT), so I've figured may as well actually gain a decent education while I'm completing VCE, rather than focusing on winning the competition.
