Hi there everyone,

I graduated from Melbourne High School in 2010 with an ATAR of 99.90. I also received the Bob Dwyer Pure Science Award and the Australian Student Prize. I am currently undertaking the Bachelor of Biomedicine at Melbourne University.

I recently started giving tuition privately and have now decided to extend my services  to the VN community. I strongly believe in developing effective study patterns that suit the individual, this has allowed me to achieve strong results throughout all my years at secondary school.

I'm currently offering tuition in:

• English/ESL (specialising in Richard III, and the 'Whose Reality' context)
• Maths Methods
• Specialist Maths
• Chemistry
• Yr 7 - 10 Maths and Science

With regards to English, apart from feedback, coaching and essay marking, I can offer a multitude of strategies and learning techniques, that will help you develop ideas, improve your timing and direct your work towards producing pieces that demonstrate what examiners are looking for. Using these methods helped me convert my reasonable SAC marks to a study score of 50 by the end of year 12.

For maths and chemistry, I strive to ensure that students have a strong grasp of the concepts involved. And that means detecting and bridging the gaps in your understanding. I can give you guidance through the tough questions and equip you with the thinking approaches that will improve your ability to solve future problems on your own.

If requested I can also offer help with Physics, IT Applications, and Further Maths.

I can tutor in the State Library, or at my home in Wantirna.

For one on one tutoring, I charge $30 per hour. I'm happy to negotiate other pricing arrangements for those who'd like group tutoring or longer sessions. I have yet to set a price for pre-VCE tuition, (as I have no yr 7 - 10 students) but it will most likely be cheaper.

Friendly and smart, he's an intellectual juggernaut - my parents were always asking me how Brandon was doing throughout my time at MHS, fearing his raw power and determination without knowing anything else about him.
