Memka you're so lucky you get to do that CSIRO thing..our whole class has been begging to do it and we were told there was no time to do it this year
That's terrible
I mean it's only 20 hours and most of people do theirs in the July holidays anyway. I'm only doing mine now because my scientist was at a biology conference for the whole holidays. Mine's spread out over 2 school "study" days (every 2nd thursday) and a few of my spares/biology classes. So far, I haven't really missed that time either.
It's really awesome, my scientist is a doctor who's working on the pathogensis of malaria infections! Only bad thing is I haven't been physically able to do much because most of the work's done in fancy machines. But my scientist works at Deakin University's new medical school so everything's so new and shinny lol. Seeing real biological research happening before your eyes is definately the best bit though.
