For the people doing biology as part of their VCE, I am interested in knowing how much time people spend studying for it. How do you compare among other vcenotes users?

Hmm I'm ashamed to say that lately I've done no study.
I listen to Douchy's Biology Podcasts (free on iTunes) and that's about it.

Although atm I'm participating in the CSIRO's student research scheme where I'm learning all about molecular biology techniques (which is part of Unit 4 bio) so I guess that kinda counts.

Haha same I've done close to nothing so far this semester. However I step it up at the right times, i.e. before SACs and the exam...last semester for the final two weeks before the exam I dropped everything else in my life and did at least 5-6 hours a day on Bio, and it paid off. But I still think I should have started revising earlier because I felt so rushed for time!
Memka you're so lucky you get to do that CSIRO thing..our whole class has been begging to do it and we were told there was no time to do it this year :(

That's terrible :(  I mean it's only 20 hours and most of people do theirs in the July holidays anyway. I'm only doing mine now because my scientist was at a biology conference for the whole holidays. Mine's spread out over 2 school "study" days (every 2nd thursday) and a few of my spares/biology classes. So far, I haven't really missed that time either.

It's really awesome, my scientist is a doctor who's working on the pathogensis of malaria infections! Only bad thing is I haven't been physically able to do much because most of the work's done in fancy machines. But my scientist works at Deakin University's new medical school so everything's so new and shinny lol. Seeing real biological research happening before your eyes is definately the best bit though.
