What was the last MC about again?

During the production of electricity in a coal-fired power station, energy is present in the following forms.
I. mechanical energy of turbine.
II. chemical energy of coal and oxygen.
III. thermal energy of steam.

The amount of energy in each of these forms that take part in the generation of a fixed quantity of electricity is, from lowest to highest
A. III, I, II
B. I, II, III
C. I, III, II
D. II, III, I

Heh, answer is C without even reading the question. Options A and C indicate II is certainly the last one. Options B and C indicate I is certainly the first one. C is the intersection. (edit: you can even reinforce this further by using this reasoning on the middle one, it's certainly III by options C and D, C is the ultimate intersection!)

The answer is C too, from what I've read.

You have the exam? Might wanna post that in another thread w/ coblins answers so we don't splat that on people who want to discuss but don't wanna feel worse about dropping marks.
give me one good reason why i should type it up? coz it takes a while you know...

Sorry, wasn't saying type it up.

I was hoping you could scan it up. Our school is cheap with its exams.

Never mind, just a thought.

hakeem, calm mate. You'll still get 40+. That's virtually guaranteed.
I wish I could drop 9 marks in BM. I'd be lucky to get out of it with a 40 at this rate.
ENTER: Incomprehensibly high

I reckon the A+ cut-off will be 90%

But, what do I know? I can't read the minds of every chemistry student.

Nah, it's alright. You don't have to do it. Just post up questions that seem to be of major concern to people, if you wanna help out.

I reckon you should lend it to someone with a scanner though, haha.

im very dissappointed. i needed to get 35 + in chemistry as it is a pre req for medicine. after all that umat preparation and getting an interview, it would suck balls if i dont get that 35 in chem.

im angry at myself more than the difficulty of the paper or the time ... i cant believe i made such stupid errors. the Cadmium one i basically disregarded 2 years of chemistry which said H+ conc decreases with increasing ph. thats what hurts. argh.
6 - accounting- did well

expectations for 07 - english (35), methods (40), spesh (35), chem (38 ) , business management (40)

ooo i can!

last year i got B+ mid year (not sure whether it was high or low) and an A+ end of year (im guessing it was pretty low)

and i got 35 raw

keep in mind that im pretty sure my grades were low for that range AND this years unit 3 chem was harder than last years...

so ur up for anything about a 35 to 39 raw :D
