Hey Guys,

Im in Year 10 and considering my future VCE subjects, and one of the subjects which I'm thinking of doing is Accounting. Will the study design change in 2009 or 2010, does it scale up (and if so, by how much for scores above 40) and what do you actually do in it?

Hope the questions arent too general :)

Thanks

In 2007, 40 went to 41; 45 to 46.

Last year was the first year of the new study design, so it won't change for at least a few years.

The current study design is from 2007-2010, so it would be pretty good timing for you.
You would be doing it in the last year of this study design, which means there'll be quite a few years of practice exams that are relevant to you, unlike for us :( lol.

VCE Accounting for me isn't really intellectually challenging. You do what the book says. Economics on the other hand... you will always have a new question to ask or something new to learn (L)

Yeah, same for me. Accounting is pretty logical.
We use Double Profit, which isn't even a proper book. I usually don't need to read anything at all :D
Which is why I <3 it so much ;D hehee

I've slacked off a lot this semester, but somehow got better marks than I did in Unit 3... however, I don't feel as confident in in as I did with Unit 3. Maybe because I haven't started revision for it yet. Gonna start revision after last SAC is over (next week). I HAVENT EVEN FINISHED THE COURSE!!! Still need to do liquidity.
ARGHH accounting! It's one of those subjects where I can do the chapter the 2 days before a SAC and get close to full marks but then sorta forget about it all after a week lol. NEED TO REVISE *CRIES*

Haha, exactly the same here :P
I felt really confident with unit 3, but after the midyear exam...i started slacking off, and losing confidence in myself :(
I haven't been concentrating on accounting this semester as much as last semester, and haven't started revising at all.
And lol, i totally love only doing the chapter a couple of days before a sac and then getting full marks, or close to full marks on it :D

accounting sucks.

 :o Tell me i did not just see that.... :(  :-\  :'(
