Major - Physics, astrophysics, maths (hopefully they let me do all three =/ If not I'll just cull maths)

(yes I know a major needs 4 3rd year units but stuff like MTH3360 counts towards two :P)
At the end of this year I have a minor in astro and maths :P

Originally pols and philosophy were going to be my majors, but now I'm thinking of changing the pols major to an anthropology major.  I'm probably going to do honors in philosophy (originally that was going to be politics too, but I've really gone off the discipline).

Maths, maths, and maths :)

I'd already finished a maths major by last semester...

PhB (Hons) (Sc), ANU, 2007-2010
MPhil, ANU, 2011-2012
PhD, Princeton, 2012-2017
Research Associate, University College London, 2017-2020

Feel free to ask me about (advanced) mathematics.

Major - French :smitten: :smitten:
Minor - German :smitten: and int studies/politics, depending on which units I do in 3rd year

I don't think there are majors or minors in law ... although I'll be focusing on international law and human rights law in my electives, and possibly a professional practice unit somewhere ... but that's 4th and 5th year ... aaaaages away :)

Aerospace Engineeering and Applied Maths are definites, I'm still tossing up between Pure Maths and Physics for my 3rd major (but leaning towards Pure Maths) and hopefully from next year, I'll also be juggling a Mandarin major as well :D

Is a "minor" something you need a certain no of credit points for?

yeah, for arts at least, you need to have I think 24 credit points, which is 2 years of studying

so next year I'm doing 2 units of German = 12 points, and 3rd year I'm doing another 2 units = another 12 points, = a minor :)

so what does a minor confer; does it give you the choice of doing honours in that field [if  you're good enough]?
