Oh i've seen that done before.
Just get colored highlighters and draw a line across edge of the page.

Ah yeah, I understand what ya mean. Also - because she said that the tabs would extend beyond the A4 margin, does it mean that dividers bound within your notes (with tabs) would extend beyond the margin and hence not be acceptable?

What's the difference between a book that's A4-sized and really really really thick (say 1 metre), compared to a page that's 1 metre long and the rest of the dimensions are bound by the A4-size restriction?

Bureaucracy ::)

whats the lady's e-mail? i want to e-mail her about my bound reference.

P.S: my dad drilled holes into my bound book and i don't know attached metals things to it.. so its pretty secure.. although the pages still stick out (because its so fat (my bound ref book is basically photocopies stuck into an exercise book.. yes its stupid but i got lazy).

I was wondering,
I have the A+ further practice exam papers right, so
the two little solution books they have, I sticky taped them
together as my bound reference, i showed it to my fm
teacher she said it SHOULD be fine, but the VCAA has
specifically said you are NOT allowed to stick one book with another.
Now i'm thinking what if i get the BOOKS bounded from officeworks??
Please let me know if this is allowed or if i should go for it or not.

The rule of thumb is the shake test. Get your bound book and shake it violently. If any of the pages appear to fall off or are otherwise loose, then you will need to fix your bound book.
