Well, I guess this goes for any Oral, but could certainly coincide with German (I so regret not doing German this year

)
Firstly, enter the examination room with a confident demeanor. There is nothing worse than entering a room scared out of your mind, and feeling disjointed in the process, or entering drunk (as what happened to my friend last year

.
Use your time
wisely before your eventual exam. If you have written specific statements on cards, re-read these and try to develop key ideas pertaining to these statements. There is nothing worse than coming to an exam unprepared, and coincidentally, bludging during your waiting time.
When you get to the exam room, I'm sure the ladies and gentlemen are very nice and polite to interact with. If they aren't, they shouldn't be assessing nervous children.

The first question may seem daunting, but then you ease into the Oral, and it becomes second nature to you (unless you don't know the language particularly well... Like me in Italian ):.
After you finish, the best part is throwing away all your notes, cards and everything... Because the Oral is finally over! But then you have the written...

If you are really nervous, I recommend Bach's Rescue Remedy. You can get it at most pharmacies, and you simply spray it on, and you would be surprised at what effects it has on your nerves, and how calm you feel as a result. But don't arrive drunk. Even though it calms your nerves, my friend forgot almost ALL of her German last year, and paused all the time. I don't recommend that.
Hopefully these have helped you somewhat with your preparation.
I'm sure you will ace the Oral!
Good luck!
