What do you mean?

As in who keeps the copyright? You would, seeing as there's no agreement to relinquish it (as far as I know). FSN is merely providing a free distribution service (supported by advertisements).

My interpretation:

Anyone can upload notes but they need to be approved by someone (not sure if this is just enwiabe or other people can do it) before people can see it.

They wouldn't and they'd probably assume it was your own work - its more of a moral thing (and well legal too if it ever gets down to that over some notes which I doubt) Why are you uploading others' notes anyway?

After I submit stuff to this notes system (which btw, are nowhere near finished, but anyway), do I still own/have control over them or does FSN own them? Also, would I be able to chuck them up on other sites as well?

I'm not quite sure how the legal disclaimer will be worded just yet (it is still being drawn up). But no, you do not have automated control over them. This is to prevent people chucking hissy fits and deleting all of their stuff. You will retain most rights over your work, but again, I advise you to read our legal disclaimer once it's drawn up. I should note that all people who send me notes before the legal disclaimer goes up reserve the absolute and undeniable right to have their work removed if they do not agree with the disclaimer once it is up.

You, at all times, retain the copyright. If you wish to cancel your permission for VN to publish your notes, you must e-mail [email protected] from the e-mail attached to the account that posted the notes, or PM me from said account. This will result in immediate removal of your notes from the site.

All VN does is distribute, it does not claim any copyright over the notes themselves, simply the right to reproduce the notes. It is not assumed to be an exclusive right, either (as in there is no issue with giving notes to other places and sites etc.). However, we do claim copyright in the instance that another site copies the notes from site directly and does not go through the submitter for the notes.

As you can see, this is all done to avoid legal problems. I'd much rather NOT claim ownership of the notes, but simply distribution rights. And, of course, by letting users cancel these rights at any time that they see fit, it pretty much removes all liability possible.

So yeah, you retain a lot of rights over your notes. I will never claim to own them.

Oh, if THAT happens, then the person to whom the notes actually belong will have to prove that it is their notes and I will promptly take them down.

that would depend on the situation.

there is no clear cut policy, it relies on the maturity and sensibility of the users. In cases of abuse, enwiabe is also smart enough to tell what is right and wrong.
