well the time is nearing for all you year 12's lols i think it is most likely they are gonna mark easier this year because of the new study design and hopefully next year too, seeing as a context essay is pretty hard even for some teachers.

Yeah true, however that wont really effect our scores. If you think about it, if they mark me easier then they'll mark everyone else easier. As scores are a comparison - no change. Oh well, I'm feeling prepared for Part A and C. God damn context...

Eww, context. Not that I don't like it, I just dunno what to expect. But yeah, at least part A and C will be ok, though I hope for language analysis they only give us one article and one image.

I love my context 'conflict', the Secret River, is an easy to read novel, and then I can talk about conflicts that interest me.

The one im worried about is section C, as there will always be someone who can directly be compared against you, and if you're like me the chances are these sorts of people have done alot more study.

Agreed, Section C is quite competitive compared to the other 2 sections because everyone is doing it!

Im quite the opposite, Context seems to my better section of the three. We got our practise exam results today, and I got 8/9/8 (1984/Imaginative Landscape/Analysis) Im pretty happy with those :)

I find that Context essays can mimic those from our sac's etc. I tend to use similar ideas and mould them to the prompt!

Very happy with language analysis. Worried sick about context and text response.

THERE IS STILL TIME TO IMPROVE!!

For me, it's probably LA>Context>Text Response in terms of 'easiness'.

Definately most worried about the text response. I find conflict relatively easier to write on because it is so broad and you can talk about basically anything. I find I'm most likely to get stumped on the Text Response.

Also I'm hoping theres only one article and one visual as opposed to having to compare two articles...

LA (we don't have to do an essay) > Section A > Context

everyone doing LA first?

Yup, planning on doing this. Hopefully will have time left for extra on context.
