Uhh no one really knows so yeh. 2006 was ridiculously easy, so they had to resort to stuff like taking marks off for parabolas which weren't quite aesthetically pleasing enough, or intercepts which weren't labelled in coordinate form. Meanwhile 2007 was supposedly quite difficult (overly difficult actually?) so my assumption is that they'll probably opt for difficult exams again (although I doubt more difficult than 2007) to prevent a repeat of '06 since that did no one any favours really, and a larger spread makes things easier for VCAA when allocating study scores. So yes, somewhere in between  '06 and '07 in terms of difficulty. Just go try those yourself I guess since I can't recall every single one of those companies

I had a dream a few days ago and we had to determine Euler's number in Exam 1 to 4 decimal places.

Official sources told me VCAA 08 exams will be made up by 50% of VCAA 03 exam and 50% NEAP 06, because the writer got extremely sick and took an indefinite leave of absence.

I had the classic "I've lost my bound reference and exam 2 is in an hour" dream last night.

Lol, Euler's method in Methods... Will they really ask us to examine that in exam 1 in specialist? I am scared if they do, especially if it is a 3 or 4 mark question :(

You don't really need a bound reference if you have studied. It's just there for assurance and safety.

Determining Eulers number probably not, but using euler method is a likely multiple choice on exam 2.

"Euler's method" as such is not examinable in MM, but "linear approximation" is. (one step Euler's method)

and they could put a Euler's method question in exam 1 SM [though I highly doubt in MM], I have never seen them ask a question with more than 2 steps (with or without a calculator), and it won't be anything ridiculous like

I have studied, but I am in no way confident about the exams so not having that security blanket will make a big difference to me.

Yes he was being serious, so that in effect negates the obvious 'NOT' at the end of his post, so hurry along and go memorise the answers to VCAA '03 and NEAP '06 DESPITE THE MANY COPYRIGHT ISSUES THAT WOULD RESULT FROM VCAA DOING SO. And if you fail to see my sarcasm, then my point is no, he was not being serious.
