12 years at uni?
What on earth are you on about
The selection of intern is unlike a normal job application, it is a computer matched system based on a student's and a hospital's preference. Your references are far more important to a hospital than your university
I could spend all day with you trading barbs over undergrad vd. grad, monash vs melb, becuase i've heard them all too. The most important thing is i realise that it's all complete crap made up by people who have their own self interest . .or bitterness
Good doctors/students are not held back by stereotypes, that is not held by alot in medical the profession really
Doctors do work at different hospitals, yes, but those hospitals are more likely to be in the same health group, like southern or melbourne health. A university is typically attached to the same hospital in the same group, and there are fewer doctors who work with both sets of students for a reasonable amount of time to arbitrarily decide that one group is better than another, its just assumption, usually based on a small number of students
You have't spoken to students in the new melbourne course because it doesn't exist yet and not all details been finalised yet, they are likely to be quite similar, yes, but then again, they might not
