Identity and belonging: catcher in the rye help

For this part, i have usually been writing under the persona of holden calufield writing a series of letters or diary entries, which sounded pretty good.

However my teacher said i should stop this at once, mainly because holden is portrayed as an immature and and unreliable narrator and generally a point of view from an anti-hero doesnt go down well...

Wats ur guys view on this?
