yeah i only filled out the general thing on vtac. hopefully i get a decent chance at a scholarship seeing as i live more than 2 hours out of melbourne.  :D

Almost all scholarships are for being poor though :P

With 99.85 I consider myself *very* lucky to have gotten a pure academic one, 99.80 etc might not have been high enough. Should give out more of those imho.

What exactly do you receive with the scholarship, whether it be academic or financial?
i.e discount fees?...full ride free? free books or something like that?

I get paid a fixed amount per year for the duration of my degree provided I maintain distinction average.
I have the option for them to pay me the money directly or to use it to pay hecs up front.

Same, same but with a credit average.


Some scholarships will cover HECs and some won't, it depends on the scholarship itself.

don't think many do unless you get the number spot in australia and get the national medicine scholarship :P

its just a scholarship from school, its called the dorothy mckinnon scholarship, me and another guy just got nominated by our principal. they give them out to ballarat schools, and boy oh boy i will need that cash! our home computer is dying!!!
