When we are asked to write thermochemical equations and we refer to this section, do we put the state of water as liquid or gas, considering it says "at 298K"
Also my Heinemann Chapter on this has most of its combustion reactions with water as liquid and they have delta H values virtually identical to the ones in Data Book

If its combustion for example like butane and propane, the delta H values are the same as the ones given in the data booklet, and the states are all gases.
