If there is already some advice on the forum on this, please link me.

For a persuasive piece, what can my structure be like?

For example can it be:

1. General introduction addressing the prompt, arguing for or against an aspect of the prompt.

2. First paragraph which deals with the broader social and current applications of the prompt. Perhaps including some general statistics or evidence that is related to my argument.

3. Second and third paragraph which deal with my primary text (Witness)

4 Conclusion that addresses both broad  social and textual side of my argument.

If I can do this, how can I nearly blend talking about current implications of the prompt when moving into talking about my text in the next few paragraphs? I don't want my writing to sound disjointed.
