taken into consideration that your sacs havent been moderated up or down, and taken that every year the student population performs differently and exam difficulty varies year by year. I say it is a pretty good indicator for range wise as it is accurate for that range of scores but for 'that year'. Its just a bit off since after all its range you put into the calculator not the exact score you got for each exam. So an A+ high could mean like 77-80 and based on that the calculator makes a predictation for like 48-50 etc...

ahh ok, thanks mystikal i kinda get it.:)

i looked at just the GA estimator for the health exam cos i was bored (>_>)
and apparently, to get 47 only 90% is needed for the exam, and 48 only 93% is needed...
is this correct? i know it scales down at 47 but still, seems pretty easy to do well......

This may be resurrection but its less than a week old.

Say i used it to calculate what id need in my course work (GA1) to get a study score of 27, the study score is all the values added together right (lets simplify this), where is it getting the other two GA's from to add to the one i worked out (GA1) to make my study score of 27?

Enter as 'LOW' if you are expecting to be on the lower end of the grade range
'HIGH' if you are expecting to be on the higher end of the grade range
If you are expecting to be around the middle, or are unsure, leave blank (or enter anything, such as 'MED', the program assumes the middle of the range unless you specify low or high)

You need to fill out all three. You need to predict your performance in all three GAs, and then fill out appropriate numbers from the grade distributions, the formula then works everything out.

Raw, use atarcalc for scaling.
