I found out yesterday that my friend got 39 in English last year.

I was like:

0.0

WTF?!

Do u realise that's almost the top 9% of the state??

IMAGINE IF U ACTUALLY STUDIED 4 UR OTHER SUBJECTS!!

She jst laughed and was like 'Yeah...'

...Oh, the back story 2 that... we studied 4 English 2gether @ my house 4 a couple of days b4 the exam, but I don't think she studied 4 any of her other subjects.
She ended up with an ENTER of 70-something I think... XD

Wow a 70 without studying, that's amazing :P

I got an 80 with studying until exhaustion and fainting... Makes me think it wasn't worth it. :P

My friend got a 44 and she studied every nite.

I reckon they've fked up her ENTER and I've told her 2 get it checked.

As an ENTER? :o... They must have stuffed it up!!!

That's wot I think.

I mean, if it is her ENTER and there isn't a mistake, it'd b hard 2 get any more depressed bout it.

She's got nothing 2 lose by getting it checked.

Do bare in mind that both over and under studying in VCE will result in a low ENTER.... Sorry to say that ..

100% true. You need some form of balance to achieve excellent results.

I disagree with your 'over study' idea, you can never study too much if you wanna acheive gr8 results.

Hmm... no... I think there is a breaking point.

I personally know a girl who pushed herself over her breaking point a couple of months b4 exams.
She was set 2 get an ENTER somewhere in league with mine, but ended up with 80-something.

I don't think my 44 ENTER friend over-studied tho.

That happened to many people at my school as well. I thought the dux was destined for a 98 ENTER, but ended up getting 93.50. Balance is definitely the key to doing well in the VCE. :) (Not studying to the point of exhaustion.)

Wow!

Still a great effort chloe!

You shouldn't think too much about your school marks that are given. Moderation makes your marks fairer and more representative of your real mark.

Did you get both a statement of exam marks and a statement of study score for english chloe?

Text response - 1984 (I thought i did a good essay!) - 9,9 - 18/20
Context - Imaginative Landscape (wasnt the best ive done, dragged it out a bit) - 8,8 - 16/20

My total was 50/60 (the A+ range was >47/60)
