gahh did anyone else screw up the question in graphs and relations about the safepark and easypark cos they didnt realise that the person could park at different places on both the days and just quite stupidly got the answer as 16?

Yeah i did, i think lots of people will do that, the question is a touch ambiguous.

i put D for that question too, but i dont understand what i got wrong... $2.50 x 8 = $20, which is not the minimum... how can the answer be $15.50... help? haha

Because the question says she can use EITHER car park on the two days... so she can use Safepark on Tuesday (2.5 X 3 = $7.5) and EasyPark on Monday (=$8)

total = $15.5

Because the question says she can use EITHER car park on the two days... so she can use Safepark on Tuesday (2.5 X 3 = $7.5) and EasyPark on Monday (=$8)

It actually says EITHER safepark OR Easypark, hence the confusion. This could be read saying one or the other, but not both.
