Definitely agree, it was a lot harder than past VCAA exams; there were a few tricky questions. However because I have been used to TSSM, MAV, Neap etc. I think I went very well. I've always got to leave the possibly that I made a few stupid errors though, even if I did check it comprehensively.

EDIT: the question that I am most unsure abut is 11 on the core by definition its not seasonal as the periods of highs and lows aren't consistent, however it definitely doesn't resemble a secular trend. It looks like cyclic but that wasn't an option so I just chose increasing trend only, hope I'm right

Yeah I thought it was a lot harder than the 2007 exam.. Got time to go over it again after I finished it, so hopefully I went alright, more worried about careless errors/misreading the question..
Haha, anyone going to post their answers?

I agree, I chose increasing trend only as well, I'd say it was cyclic...

Yeah same here.

My reasoning was: they only showed a 12 month period, therefore how could the variation be seasonal if theres no other years to compare it to? Also, I hope 'seasonality' means the same as seasonal.

As for the overall exam, probably harder than last year but hard to tell.

i first thought it was cyclic... but couldnt it be seasonal with an increasing trend because 3 complete seasons aren't shown? and it could reach its highest point at the end of the third season....
