Went alright, but music will be my 7th/8th subject, so its a bit of a laugh for me :)

MY MUSIC EXAM:

It was a cold a frigid morning.  The school had already rung my home because I wasn't at the exam 15 minutes before the start, but luckily I got there in time.  We chatted, and then we were ushered into the examination room.

We sat down, looking at our little name cards, but then, TRAGEDY STRUCK!

The numbers on all of our exams DID NOT MATCH THE CARDS.

Fortunately there are only a small number of people in my music grade, so we easily swapped exams and found out whose was who and so forth.  So then, we sat down, and commenced reading time.

Once our 15 minutes of doom were over, the supervisors turned on the CD Player, but for some strange reason, random music just started playing.  Now, my entire grade immediately realised that something was wrong, as this was nothing like we had expected.

My friend put up his hand, and asked the supervisors why there was music (Maynard Ferguson's 'Spinning Wheel' was playing) which was not supposed to be there.  They pointed out that the exam paper said 'Music will be playing continuously for 48 minutes', and assumed this meant that the music that was playing was correct.

While this was happening, I was starting on Section C (which can be done without the CD), and I got a few questions done while this random music was playing, before it got annoying and I told them myself that the music that is playing is WRONG.  I pointed out that there was supposed to be '3 minutes of silent writing time' as the first question, so the supervisor asked me if she should STOP THE CD FOR 3 MINUTES!

Eventually, one of the more technologically aware girls in our music class realised that the supervisors were actually playing A TAPE IN THE CD PLAYER. So after 15 minutes of listening to (good music) unrelated garbage, we FINALLY started Section A.

At the end of the exam, the supervisors gave us an extra 5 minutes for their 15 minute stuff up.  We were robbed of our 15 minutes.

Good Game VCAA: I was the only person in my grade who finished the whole exam, nobody else had enough time (My friend got to the last question and WOULD OF FINISHED had he been given the full time).

Incident Report filed and sent off!

p.s. Transcription was SHIT

Oh man fucking owned! This is why old ladies shouldn't be running this. They have no bloody idea where the hell they are most of the time, let alone how to conduct an examination.

 LOL

Reminds me of some friends' 1/2 Japanese exam at my school, where everyone was poised for the listening section, but the tape which the teacher had brought, as people found out amid much hilarity was entirely of Kylie Minogue ;D

Yo dcc totally know what you're going on about cos i was there! I can't believe she said that to you and mentioned friend. Given that we saw them chatting in the room while we waited outside 20mins prior you'd think that they could have used that time to check everything again?!

ARGH I'm so angry cos I totally did not get to finish that exam. So much for music being easy and straight forward...
