me too, its such a stupid combination :|
and within an hour of each other!!??
i think the FP essay will have a contentious statement about what is the main priority, like being a good global citizen or trade/eco (praying its not a formulation of FP topic)
and for unit 3, hoping for a comparitve essay between congress/parliament, like which is more democratic or something like that
our hands are going to be dead by the end of that day though

G'day all,

For anyone who's interested... on Monday night I'll be running a 90-minute Internet radio programme, on exam revision for National Politics. If you've got a PC, speakers/headphones and a broadband Internet connection you'll be able to log in and participate. I'll go through the four Areas of Study and some exam techniques. There's also a chat window where you can post your questions and I'll endeavour to answer them on-air.

It kicks off at 9.00pm Monday November 10th at this address:

Cheers,
Steve

Oh! I know.. I guess its good that we'll be in the same kind of frame of mind to do the exams though, because they are rather similar in way of style and such.

I'd really like a question like that for FP, though I think iIm opting towards domestic policy for the essay.. my SAC marks were generally better for those, and I can focus directly on education and environment for examples, because they were my focus throughout the year.
As for Unit 3, I love the 'which is more democratic' questions.. they're so general to write about usually, so it provides a great framework for most arguments.

Oh, and do you always put examples in with your definitions? I asked my teacher, and he said we do, but a friend at another school is telling me we dont have to.. I hATE conflicting sources!!

Have you finished your revision yet? I'm trying to get mine done so I can spend most of Wednesday focussing on revs, as there is so much more content...

Steve that's awesome! I'm definitely tuning in. I really just need an overview of everything to make sure I haven't missed any areas

ok so this is answering a few questions here
1. yes we do get told to put examples in our definitions, i think its definitely something worth doing
2. in terms of balancing pol/revs revision time, ive definitely been more biased towards revs atm which is starting to make me nervous but big effort tomorrow for pol so i can feel confident enough on thurs
3. we use gilby and weiss but mostly gilby
:)
oh and im going to steves on-line session, he does them for revs too btw...

I just don;'t have that sense of urgency about my exams yet.

I really need to crack down and do some stuff for revs and poli. I'm figuring that tues i'll finish all of my history, and then wednesday I can have half and half revs and poli

We used the Gilby textbook. I swear, there's like no content for national politics.. it could be handed out in a leeaflet/.
