Methods 44+ percentage?

I never ask for guess my SS but I can't resist..

In what percent do you have to be to obtain a study score of 44 in methods?
Isn't it like top percent for 50?

I think I might have got, at a maximum 38/40 for exam 1. Most of you can relate the difficulty to a year (probably 2006). In 2006 the cut off for A+ was 37.5 for exam one.
Assuming I get 75/80 in exam 2, is it possible for a 44 Raw?

Thank you.

Top 50 percent? It's more like top 2.3% o_O Try yourself =P Normal distribution, mean 30, SD of 7 to calculate study scores.

I meant the top 1 percent to get a 50. :P
Sorry I'm not too familiar with the system.

Oh and as for your actual question, mmm, I'd say its possible, but it really depends on how hard exam 2 is, and how badly everyone else screws up. 45+ looks like it's going to be a battle of exam 2's, given that I'm expecting 3-4% to full mark exam 1 (3% did in '06), so you'll be fighting an uphill battle really. Doesn't mean its impossible though =P

Thank you shinjitsuzx.

So how did YOU do? :)

Oh and in 2006, if you got a 40 RAW it scales to 45. If you get 44 RAW, what does it scale to? Because if you get a 45 RAW, you get a 48 scaled.

40 I think...if I remember my answers correctly. Keep getting a bad feeling that I wrote (which is a negative probability *facepalm*) rather than the correct answer, but I'm hoping my memory's just playing tricks on me. I did that question twice over, so I'm pretty sure I would've wrote the right answer...

Wasn't that the correct answer?

Ha I knew you would get 40. Good on you man. Well deserved.

And wheres dcc? Haven't seen him around today. I guess he's taking the "not comparing with others before examination is over" approach.
