How do I put in Y1, X1 and stuff into the main screen? I can't find the buttons!! :(

For a parametric equation, you have:
r(t)=x(t)i+y(t)j

To graph these on your calculator, you put it in parametric mode, go to the y= editor, and type in your information x(t) and y(t).  And it will sketch.

I can't really see a use of using these functions, in any calculations on your calculator, though.

yea thats what i thought. coz if u have sin and cos stuff... pretty easy to convert. ur other option is rearranging anf subbing. so i wont bother tryin to use the calc :P
