VITTA Exams...

These VITTA exams seem way harder than the actual exam last year. What annoys me most is that when i dont know something they then ask more questions about it which means i lose even more marks.

GRRR, anyone else find VITTA hard?

As depressing as they might be, you'd prefer them to be hard then easy, especically judging on some of the exams so far this year.

Speaking of crappy questions, has anyone else found the Cambridge Checkpoints ITA book to be fairly useless? It seems the author wants to educate us outside the course, and approximately 70%+ of the book seems to be questions outside the current Study design. eg. there was a question on how you convert analog signals to digital. wtf.

Anyone else found it terrible and only useful for the VCAA questions?

I have it, barely touched it though. I don't think I'll really use it. Wasted money on it :(

haha yeah I only really started doing some of the questions yesterday and today... it's basically just recycled questions from past VCAA exams (old study design)... so it's useless. waste of money

Checkpoints isn't actually that bad. Not all as you said is relevant but most of it i've done so far MC especially i've found pretty decent.

Yeah I did MC a while ago and found it decent, but the short answer questions are rubbish. I've been reading it through and 99% when I actually know what they are talking about in the question, it's a VCAA question.

I stopped at the first page, was so utterly disappointed with Checkpoints, and the Cambridge book aswell.

All you really need to do is past exams i guess.

I started reading through it, and just left it, and continued with VITTA exams. The only thing of reasonable use were the little cue cards at the end.
