matrices transformation questions...

umm i think my book is worng with the formulaes for matrices transformations....cud anyone give me the formulaes for dilations and reflections in the marix form pleaaaassseeeeeee

i get really stuck on these types of questions...

the transformation T:R^2  --->  R^2, which maps curve with he equation y=x^2 -4 to the curve wih the equation y=(x/2)^2 -1, could have the rule...?

yes!!! cud u pls give me the formulaes for the different transormations??? cus i think mine are wrong and i dont know how to check them?

yah that was the answer! my formuka says to put dilations of 2 at he bottom right...

i think my formulas arnt correct!!! helllpppp!!!
