As broad as this problem may sound, it's quite specific, so i will endeavor to explain it.
Alright. In my preferences i had 2 graphics courses that required me to send in a preselection kit and from that i would either get an interview for the course or be denied (They were my first and second preferences).
However, i have now decided that i don't really want to do communication design (graphics) anymore, and am therefore altering my course selections in a few weeks when i can do so (I have become more interested in Arts/Secondary teaching and will reorder my preferences to suit this.)
My problem is that i received letters for both the graphics courses today, and i recieved an intereview for my 1st preference, but not for my 2nd. Do you think i should go to this interview, or decline it and let a more willing student get the offer? I think i'm fairly set on new career direction, but i can't make a decision. Also, if i do decline the offer, will the highest offer i recieve be my 3rd preference (seeing as though my 2nd was denied?) Will VTAC be aware that i chose not to take up these 2 offers?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
