Out of those courses I would do one of the RMIT ones. I'm sorry to say that a law degree from VU isn't looked upon very highly while the Media/PC/Journalism are the best of their type in Victoria. Journalism is very tough at the moment for job prospects, my sister, who graduated in the top 3 of her year at RMIT, had to take a cadetship at a country newspaper as The Age didn't take any one and the Herald Sun took one, who had 3 years industry experience. Of course if Journalism is your passion then I would still take this course.
But I guess the main reason why I want the Law course is because after a year, I can transfer into any other Law course I want (provided I get good results
). And I don't think it is entirely difficult to get good scores at Vic uni, given that you study for the necessary hours. I think my career path is chosen.
what law course are you planning to do at vic uni? just straight law?
i might have to go down a similar path if i don't get 95 for ANU.
It's just a straight law degree, but I want to major in either corporate or copyright law.

Hehe Ninwa, good points on law, I'm planning actually, to do 1 or 2 years of my time at Legal Aid, and help underprivileged people with their cases (may even go pro-bono publico, not too sure yet), just to feel better about my career and not jib people out of money (although my ultimate aim is to be a well respected lawyer with whom anyone can feel free to come to to solve disputes

.
@ Shona: If you lit that fire, I would put it out! You are SO much better than that.
