Apparently, because the difficulty was not so great, markers are tending to mark more harshly this year? :S

I suppose the Language Analysis ('dumbed down' this year...in my opinion, anyway) is relevant to an English paper's difficulty.

As for the markers' consistency...this *is* VCAA we are talking about :P
