English Texts

I don't understand how English Text's work. We have six english text's this year on the booklist.

For context we have four texts and the other two texts are for the text response. How many are we supposed to write on in the exam? Is it only one from each (one from context and one for the main text response)

If so, why has my school allocated so many texts instead of just the two required?

ONLY one for the text response, and AT LEAST one for context on the exam. You have two for text response because it's a VCAA requirement to have a different one for each unit. You have four for context because it seems your school wants to arm you with more examples, ideas and material for your context piece. In fact, I'd probably recommend people to do at least 3 just to give yourself more ideas and potential sources of examples.

Wow we only have 3 texts :S
Im not sure which book is for the text response though (N)

I think AMFAS & Of Love and Shadows are the texts used for the text response for our school
