Mhm. well, if you're socio-economic circumstances are bad, moving out to the uni residential place could be fun.

But, personally, I won't go until I get a full-time job lolz.

I would move out, personally. It's not like you'd be all by yourself 24/7, you could invite friends around. Then again, I really like independence, so I may not be the best person to ask.

Yeah I do want to leave, my parents are treating me quite terribly lately, and now that my sisters are home things are getting a little out of hand... oh and not to mention my dads sister and her husband a living with us for a bit...

Yeah i'm quite independent too Erin... i would love to have my own place i just don't know if i'm ready to move out yet though ..

Why is it just assumed that you have to rent out a place by yourself =)
Maybe a friend you know of wants to move out? Or maybe you can move in as a roomate with someone. Cheaper and more sociable =)
Also the possibility of moving closer to Uni.

If you aren't sure, is it possible to try it for a little while and see if you like it before making a more permament decision?

Yeah! That's the main thing that prevents me from doing it (as well as the fact that the benefit from moving out is subsidised by the fact that I have a peaceful family these days).

Like Eriny said, there's no harm in giving the idea a test run.

That way you don't feel obliged to be "locked in" to one arrangement.
