Possible or Not Possible.

Is it possible to achieve a 45 raw ss in any subjects when you are NOT ranked first in SAC's ?

If someone gets A+ in all their exams & just say its HIGH A+ but is not ranked first in the SAC's.

This will severely damage their results i suspect especially for English, a biased subject.

Your comments/feedback will be appreciated.  :) ;)

Will the GAT severely affect the study scores.
hmm...lets make a scenario... a teacher severely hates you.

eg. just say that a teacher gives you an overall of being ranked 5th or [15th for big schools.] you own the exams, absolutely own i tell you. and you completely kill the GAT. then does VCAA know and will not stuff you over.

note:a humanities subject. [sacs]teacher submits you to a grade of C+ which equals to being ranked 15th. but you're really an A+ student. therefore, vcaa see's your exam result that is A+. do they look at it really hard and say wow a that C/ranked 15th for sacs and an A+ for exams... how about we boost this students score from C+ to a B+ for GA1 & 2??

What stilled screwed much!?!

yeah you'll need some smart people in your class too.

okay.
there are a couple of students that got many awards from the school. the awards are given on the basis of teacher opinion. now, do you reckon that the teacher will favour those students and give them the top ranking of sac's even though they perform slighter below a person with no awards that the teachers do not like?

When you say the one who got awards perform slightly below a person with no awards, does that mean in terms of sac marks? Eh...it would be quite unfair to give them top ranking, if so. I highly doubt the teacher would do that...? If it does, then the actual exam performance should sort it out.

Yes. I got a 46 in further maths, and I believe I lost 3 marks in both exams, and was ranked about 4th/5th... The people above me were not necessarily "better," it just came down to careless mistakes in sacs that put me lower in rankings.

Lol, I was literally at the bottom of SACs in both maths, but somehow, I got a 30 in methods and 26 in spec? Meh, go figure; I can't be bothered to anymore. :P

i was ranked second in ALL my sacs and i got a 46 on my written GAT which may have helped me get a 49 in legal.

I got 42 for IT:Apps and I actually got A for GA2 (which is Unit 4 SACS) so it is possible.

I was ranked first for SACs in Italian... Averaging A's, B's and sometimes even A+'s... But obviously this is a scenario where SACs meant nothing as I only got a 23. :P

I was ranked 7th in Media and I managed to get a 50!! I was getting B's and C+'s throughout the year for my SACs (except for my SAT - A+), and I got 57% on my trial exam, so when I saw 50 on my results page I was gobsmacked. Admittedly, though, my teacher did mark everyone extremely hard in all of our SACs.

Apparently I absolutely OWNED the exam, and because my mark was higher than the 1st ranked person's exam mark I shared his SAC marks, and because I got the highest exam mark in the state I ultimately got a 50. :)

I would have LOVED to see my Media teacher's face when she found out I got a 50... she would have NEVER expected me to get it hahaha!!

So if you're totally flunking your SACs throughout the year don't stress!! Just ace your exam and you still have a chance of getting an awesome mark :D

GAT results don't affect your study scores directly in the vast majority of cases.
