Electrocuted

Today at work I was electrocuted when I was plugging a cord into the power outlet. It wasn't just a split second thing, stupid me thought that I had a twitch in my hand until I realised what was happening. My hands hurt heaps before and now it feels like my finger bones are really sore. My hands are also twitching right now.

Should I be alarmed?

See a doctor.

Purely from a first aid trained perspective, I would say that your nerves have been overwhelmed by the charge (hence twitching). Again, see a doctor.

If you were electrocuted, you would be dead. Electrocuted is a blend between electric and execution.

Yep :)

Note: I'm sorry if I came across as an English nazi (didn't think before I typed). I generally don't care about mistakes as long as I can understand what you mean (eg I don't care if you get it's/its wrong because I do that sometimes too), just with that, there's a big difference in meaning :P

i once put those blocky batteries on my tongue and I got shocked and I got really pissed off at the battery and threw at the neighbour's birdcage and it made them go nuts and then I ran back inside and pretended that nothing happened.
