I would highly recommend working consistently throughout the year.

It certainly does not take 7 hours of studying a day or whatever to achieve 99.95 - I spent most of my nights on MSN and IRC.  Just set yourself realistic short-term goals, work towards them, and remember to stay relaxed! :)

lol polky, this guy disagrees...QUOTE from some guy in the Herald Sun who got a 99.95

"I came to Australia (from Korea) in 2003 as a year 7 student with no English background. I only spent two or three hours sleeping and most of the time studying,"

I think that's complete bollocks.

I use to have a sleep schedule like that. After two months of only 2-4 hours of sleep a day, things become crap (at least for me). Migraines and sleep where you fall asleep without actually remembering to sleep if you know what I mean. It's just like your brain shuts down. All I got out of it was building up a huge caffeine tolerance.

Wow... I have always slept throughout the year no matter what! I am pretty happy with my ENTER score, and wouldn't dare to lose any sleep, even for a 99.95. :P

lol, wasn't there a whole thread where you said you hadn't gotten any sleep for a month?

but I can't get to sleep. No matter how much I try, I keep rolling around and just can't get to sleep. It's not that I don't want to go to sleep, it's more that I can't get a proper nights sleep

Same. Sleep > 99.95

Well whatever works for you, I guess!  To be honest I am (still) very surprised with my score seeing how I slept through about 70% of my classes, was regularly late to school and spent all my time on the internet.

Fluke much? :P

Minh-Quan Nguyen's older sister went to my school - she graduated at age 15 in 2004. I reckon smart-ness runs in their family!
I went to school with Eric Leung...that guy is unbelievably smart, to say the least lol. No one was surprised at all to hear that he got 99.95 and Dux! And he does EVERYTHING, not just studying.
