LaTeX on MSN~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it actually exists! except for these drawbacks:

1. you have to open that page in IE
2. you have to visit that page EVERYTIME you want a new convo to someone
3. it appears in the extra window thats normally "fun and games", so no maths and simultaneous relaxation...
4. pressing enter does not update your equation
5. only 6 equations per user is kept, and not in a convo/log form
6. *to my knowledge* you dont get an alert when your friend sends a new equation
7. fairly crappy user interface, requires knowledge of LaTeX (actually "minetex", but practically the same to LaTeX)

other than that

ALL THE FRUSTRATION OF DRAWING INTEGRALS AND SHIZNIZ ON MSN IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would've thought, that if the API existed, using the handwriting function of MSN would do the job (ie, be able to use LaTeX type setting and having the plugin draw pixels in raster format).

Yeah, but the handwriting data is stored and sent as (PNG?) vector, not raster. MS don't provide anywhere near the amount of API they should, but it's not like they want to support modding (read hacking) of their software.
