Ask this in Tech + Gaming and I would've been able to help... :(

It seems that you haven't added servers to the network 'irc.villageirc.net'.

Try adding 'loopy.villageirc.net:6667' to the list of servers in the villageIRC network in Xchat (and removing newserver).
