my cousin's 17th bday is coming up and i'm not sure quite sure what to buy for him.  :(

What would he prefer? Cash to choose for himself, or a product that you think he wants.

Everyone is differnt. Some people like cash so they can get what they want. Others like a 'present' because it shows that someones taken the time to find something for them and they may get something that the might not usually have thought was a good purchase but turns out to be a good product.

 How old are you? If you're older, and have an income, then cash is more appropriate than if you were the same age as him.

Instead of giving presents, it's a chinese tradition to give red envelopes that contain money... just thought that was interesting

My besties bday Im gonna make her something.

But thats cause shes a girl and it will mean more 2 her if i make something 4 her.

in chinese tradition, only married couples or senior people would give out money in red envelopes

No clue what to give. I didn't know what I wanted for my 18th, and don't know what I want for my 19th.
