Hey, having trouble with this question:

ABCD is a trapezium with AB parallel to DC, X and Y are midpoints of AD and BC respectively
Q. Show that XY is parallel to AB. (picture of the trapezium is up loaded)

p.s. Is it cool if i just type the questions and exercises (and book) i'm having trouble with? The book i'm using is Cambridge Essential Specialist Mathematics 3rd Edition.

try looking in the essential general maths advanced book. I've seen this type of question in it.
