HELP ITUNES

well my itunes just suddenly after playing a song perfectly went to another song and just went BERSERK like it just now sounds like its screeching and you know that sound when you fast forward something really fast and it starts screeching and the voice is like going at an insane speed and then like it hasnt even finished the song it skips to another song its just going crazy, never had this problem before i dont know whats happening.... cause songs work in windows media player fine? so i think its just an itunes problem... omg and now im clicking on songs and its like moving the songs up to another location omg wth my itunes is just scrwed! and then i played one song and it works perfectly, no wait one other song works but like so many dont and i keep pressing other songs and they are all tape recorder screechy! and like alot of files that could be opened before are like missing and need to be found again but others are fine? wth HELP something is seriosly wrong

hey if i uninstall it and install it again will all my songs be lost? or its still gonna be the same cause its on the computer??

Yes, but your library/playlists may not be so lucky.

Play lists will be saved even if you reinstall iTunes.

I'm not familiar enough with uninstalling iTunes and such to know

ah i uninstalled it and installed it, the problem is still there. and funny thing is i plugged in my ipod after installing it again and the songs in there play but the same song in the library is all stuffed squeeky and stuff ahh and if i transfer it into the ipod it played squeeky but the other songs in the ipod play... its so stuffed, i dunno what to do

its that for ALL your songs?

it might be a codec problem... or encoding problem...

well nearly all songs but not all and like some songs i cant even click on it its so weird

have you tried navigating to where iTunes have stored the songs and play it with another media player?

^thats a good idea.

if the songs on your ipod work, but the ones in the library don't, copy all the songs off your ipod and replace the ones in your library with those. (you can read how to do this online)

be careful though!

yes it plays with windows media player and i did not store all my songs on the ipod, they are mainly older songs on there...havent updated alot
