She seems pretty clueless to me. Once she went on an interview and asked what the role of the vice president was (and this was after she became running mate). At least if she was smart enough to be scheming she would have asked people in her party.

it was mccains dumb fault for choosing her. completely ridiculous, and unsuitable. this should clinch obama's victory (which is a good thing anyway)

I don't like her because she is staunchly pro-life and anti gay marriage, not really aligned with my views.  Considering McCain's age, this woman could possibly one day be the president of America...

Yeah, no thanks. Although I must admit, if we are choosing between social authoritarianism and economic authoritarianism, it's still a possibility that this kind of social authoritarianism will not do as much harm as Obama might do with the economy.

Obama needs to surround himself with less of the same economic advisers that the Democrats rely on.

I on the other hand, believe that life is sacred and that abortion should be always called what it is, MURDER.

Also, G-d quite clearly states in the Bible that "a man may not sleep with another man as he does with a women... it is an abomination to the L-rd". It is only logical that society condemns homosexuality, rather than condoning it through gay 'marriage' (which isn't actually a marriage, as the definition of marriage is a union between a man and a woman.)

I don't even see why homosexuals think gay marriage is so important. The importance of marriage throughout the ages has decreased a lot. Back in the day it was compulsory for everyone to marry and stay together forever, now 'nobody' gives a shit. If homosexuals want any benefits from 'marriage' the government could create a different 'union ceremony' to satisfy that.

Here's my opinion on that: the government should have nothing to do with marriage, and noone (or single religion) should have a monopoly on marriage, so that essentially means there will be suppliers for gay marriage, as long as it is in demand.

You think the republican party handles the economy well? See: Iraq war and the absolutely epic debt incurred from it.

THIS WAS UNDER A REPUBLICAN GOV'T. Under Clinton's democratic leadership, the American economy recovered from a recession (induced in times of a republican leadership) and began to BOOM.

Oh shi- SHI- SHI- economic argument goes out the fucking window.

Agreed about the war. I cannot defend the Republican party's recent actions. You don't have to be an asshole about it though, fuckwit.

The Democrats are still going to make social services worse off unless they deregulate. Frankly, I'm not concerned about how particular political parties deal with the business cycle because it's more chance that they get elected at the right times.

a religious reference cannot single-handedly define where does life begin, nor the genders in a companionship.

especially not when there are people who do not accept religion.

that, I believe, is called coercion
