Does anyone know any good recent issues for an oral?  Eg. abortion, 2am lockout etc.

I'm having a hard time trying to choose an issue :S

You could possibly turn the Andrew O'Keefe situation into an arguement about the media once again blowing something out of proportion.

Any more good issues to do teh oral on??

Many at my school done something or another on Palestine. Sometimes we were reduced to tears at how powerful their messages and music were in conjunction with each other. They all ended up getting relatively high marks as well.

I did the Israeli occupation of the West Bank.
I found it a good topic because there was enough complexity to make my oral last the required 8 - 10mins and I was able to use maps and diagrams as props. Could also appeal to audience emotions easily. 

Got 18/20, I was very suprised coz normally me and orals do not mix lol.

Can anyone briefly explain the guide for the oral SAC? I mean, what are we actually required to do?

I've been reading about props, music etc.

Yeh i had to write the essay for that in year 11 transition too. I got devoured for posing it up on here lol.
