cant run a computer game properly

hey i bought this game called "test drive: unlimited", after i installed it "successfully" i tried to play it, but the game just doesnt load!!

It says the game needs 2.4 ghz to work, i only have 1.6, but isnt 2.4 too high???

Did you check if your pc met the minimum requirements to play the game beforehand?

yes as i did.

ALL the criteria matches, except the ghZ speed, which is significantly below.

But 2.4 (which it asks for is too high)

Not sure mate, but if thats the reuiqrement then i guess you cant do much about that..
But im not very proficient with games,

What operating system are you running?

Go to Start > Run and type in 'dxdiag'. Paste up the screenshot of the System and Display tabs.

Not necessarily.

It can work (in fact, it will generally work), but the reason why the 2.4GHz was stated as the minimum will soon become very apparent.

I might add that my box that I spent nearly $5k on is 2.4GHz. It's a Q6600. Clock speed doesn't always matter, is the point.

I meant post the screenshots up.

To do this:

- Make sure the 'dxdiag' screen is selected
- Press Alt + PrtScr (the PrtScr button can be found above the Insert/Delete keys, on the right of F12).
- Open up Paint
- Paste
- Save
- Go to an image uploading site such as Imagebucket or omploader and upload the file.
- Link it here.
