Need Some Opinions ...

Ok everyone, I was just wondering if you guys and girls think I should put up a tutoring ad on this forum, I want to tutor more students these holidays or next year... but I'm not sure that my VCE Results really help back up what I'm trying to do... I mean I did get 100% for Management at Uni, but only 43 for Bus Man in VCE... and I really doubt many people would want a tutor in Bus Man, and that said, those who do would want someone who got 50 in the subject... however I truly believe I can help students not only achieve high marks, but actually enjoy the subject.
So what do you guys think should I or shouldn't I? Please provide a reason for your answer.

You should do it.

Since you are keen on tutoring and it appears you genuinely enjoy helping people, why wouldn't you do it!?

What's the worst that can happen? You put the ad up and no-one takes you up on your offer - which would be the exact same result if you didn't put the advertisement up.. there's no harm in trying.

Plus I am sure people realise that there is more to a tutor than the grades they got (i.e ability to communicate and demonstrate specific concepts, etc.)

I'm sure you would beat anyone at tutoring a student, as opposed to someone who got a 50 in Business Management anyways! You are dedicated, enthusiastic and want the best for a student! Those qualities far outweigh someone with a 50 who can't explain anything!

Give it a shot; you may be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, definitely do it. VCE study scores don't mean anything, and if I were a student your 100% in university-level business management would really convince me that you know your stuff. Everyone knows VCE scores don't mean anything. What have you got to lose?
