Okay, basically, what is the strangest name you have ever heard of? Also, how did you get your name?

I've heard Dartanian (which is strangely what I want to call my first boy XD), Candela, Violene, Addison, Peaches... I don't know, some names are just too cool to be common. :P

My name, Alana, was picked when my mother was looking through a list of common baby names, and apparently my name appealed to her. :P (Also, she saw it in a random baby book, and it meant 'little rock', so she decided to name me that? :S)

What are some strange names you've heard of? How was your name chosen?

Also, did anybody hear about that butler who abused children? Talk about apt. :(

I forget how my mum chose my first name (she said she didn't want it to be the same as my dad's, but it practically is), but I remember the reason for my second. She named me after her favourite ninja turtle. She didn't want to know the sex of her first baby, so there wasn't a lot of forethought.

Hahaha that's pretty funny :)

Well, my name's AURELIE. Anyone heard that one before? And my middle name is Maelys. Can anyone guess what nationality my background is? lol. Mum chose my name because of her French heritage, and she'd loved it for like ever, or something. My brother and sister are Isaac & Sophie, so I'm the only one with a freakshow name.. but I love it!

Weird names of people I know.. none really - I know a girl named Xanthe & a boy, Cosmo - but they're not really weird, just a little quirky!
