BTW, for all those out there, does anyone have any CLASSIC anime's to watch? E.g. Spiritied Away I sort of count as classic? But yeah, names,names,names. Classic can also mean, an anime which has made anime what it is today, much like

Hey, if sunohara 'knows' shes a guy, then so do I, im sorry the evidence he put forth was quite assuring, she's too tank for a girl. In fact, she talks a lot......... for a girl.

Have not read any of this thread, but oh well.
I only got introduced to anime this year - before this year, I really didn't know it existed...except for Pokemon (good times).
I've mainly what movies, but I have watched some series - mainly Inuyasha and Fruit's Basket (<3).

Movies I've watch include My Neighbour Totoro (one of the best movies I have ever seen.... I need to buy it), Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service (I always wonder that the reason why all the townpeople are waving and smiling at Kiki as she flies over are because they are all perverts/pedophiles looking up billowing her skirt - actually, what is it with anime and very very very very short skirts that girls wear, and no matter how short the skirts are, they never seem to flash anyone?)

And I remember seeing the movie of Death Note. I was in love with L for a couple weeks after that.

Haha same here. I remember watching the spin off twice in a day, only because L was so cute in that movie. It was  worth it just to see him run and babysit the kids...the ending was quite sad though, it made me cry.

LOL @ the short skirt comment. Well one reason they were short skirts is whether you are watching a certain GENRE where there is a lot more than JUST shirt skirts .

However a more likely reason (I don't think you would watch this genre especially since your new to anime xD), is that anime provides films of innocence. It's a world where they have big staring eyes which as you stare at, really makes you feel their emotions. Where their actions and kind-heartedness almost doesn't exist in the non-virtual reality. Don't you also notice how Ash in Pokemon is so close to his pokemon...it's almost on the verge of eek lol. Nah. Or how the girls in many animes are always really really really close, yet it doesn't try to suggest anything sexual, it's just the "cute, innocent" scenario the writer tries to produce.

Sorry if you where just making a rhetorical statement not expecting an answer, but yeah

btw, its about time "anime" didn't have red underlines in mozilla firefox, and MS Word...it should be a word!

So yeh, 07-Ghost is definitely yaoi.
Also, wtf is xamd on about, spastic anime, how about tell us wtf a xamd even is.
Gundam Wing is even more confusing, up to ep 33 of 49 and I dont know which side is which and who's against who, nice. I also don't know which mobile suits are what, and where the fuk half the gundam pilots are most of the time. So far, even destiny is better than wing for me, not good.
