Not finished that yet either hehe (I watch tons of anime series simultaneously), however I recently *cough* acquired Clannad: After Story, so I'm all set...

So far Clannad has been good, very nice animation, interesting characters, short but cool fight scenes (lol) and lots of pop culture references which I love. Definitely give it a try.

So far Clannad has been good, very nice animation, interesting characters, short but cool fight scenes (lol) and lots of pop culture references which I love. Definitely give it a try.

Was sick today, so I spent the day watching Clannad Over halfway through S1 now.

LOVED ep7 when Fuko says over the loud speaker "Those are actually starfish"

I laughed for ages, I have a soar throat. It hurt.

Gundam X is my personal favourite Gundam series.  The consensus seems to be that it's underrated, mostly because the Japanese audience of 1997 didn't give it much attention.  It has probably the most likable protagonist in the Gundam mythos, as well as some interesting mecha designs (although a few seem fairly derivative).

Victory Gundam is only good if you love lots of senseless killing - it has lots of drama, and is probably the most depressing of any Gundam series, but Yoshiyuki Tomino absolutely despises it as it's basically a product of him going on a depressed rampage.

Well I saw it was underrated and yet I have already bought the DVD for after war x and victrory, mainly because im gonna watch all of the gundam series regardless of how good or not. However, I have seen that there has recently been a popularity rise for after war x with the dvd release of after war x, many people are finding a gundam series that is seemingly a lost gem in the franchise. What mainly made me decide to watch it is that I have the Gundam vs Gundam game and in it, Gundam X is so epic with its satellite cannon so I thought it wud be interesting to watch the series. Anyway, I have high hopes for the show, the fact that its incomplete never put me off, ive seen underrated series before that I wonder what the hell ppl were thinking when they rated it (wink inncoent venus).

As for victory gundam, I dont mind the insane kill off's that tomino decided to do in the series, Its not something that really annoys me so im quite excited to watch victory as well.

Anyway, finished Wing, wow it started shit but got good, Epyon ftw (took me so f**ing long to finish).
Zechs is the most badass pilot in wing, by far xD

Haha, I love Heero and Zechs, but really Trieze has got to be the most amazing of all.  The man was taking down Virgo IIs as if they were nothing; seriously, compare the way he seems positively BORED fighting them with the way the Wing Boys struggle against the Virgos in the final episodes.  Not to mention that the man is kicking ass in a Tallgeese variant - screw Gundams, Tallgeese ftw.

Wish Epyon got more screentime, too.

Haha, I love Heero and Zechs, but really Trieze has got to be the most amazing of all.  The man was taking down Virgo IIs as if they were nothing; seriously, compare the way he seems positively BORED fighting them with the way the Wing Boys struggle against the Virgos in the final episodes.  Not to mention that the man is kicking ass in a Tallgeese variant - screw Gundams, Tallgeese ftw.

Wish Epyon got more screentime, too.

Trieze has got STYLE, at first you think hes evil then u just cant help but feel that his not really an evil, more like hes just on the opposite side. He is as skilled in an MS as he is with a sword and thats saying sumthing, hes a better pilot than wu fei (tallgesse vs nataku upgrade) and he seemd to effortlessly duel with wu fei before allowing wu fei to kill him. I dont really know though, Heero and Zechs master the zero system, could trieze. Coz if trieze could master it, that would amplify his skills even further to a point where if u put him in epyon, you have a scarpyard of mobile dolls, lol.

Its intersting though how of all the highly acclaimed gundam pilots, Heero is the only one with skills that really shine. The other 4 are just ....there. Heero, trieze and zechs are by far the 3 most outstanding pilots in Wing but I would maybe still lean to Heero (he beat Zechs in close combat using a gundam that wasnt really suited to close combat, nice) but Trieze we will never know how good he could have been in epyon

Epyon was the only suit which grabbed my attention in wing, unlike seed and 00 in which most suits grabbed my attention. I thought epyon got fair screentime, from when it first appeared, seemed to appear the msot, unless you mean you wish it had appeared earlier, in which case I think it was more special it appeared later in the series.

But really Gundam xx>gundam x> all (at least in the game hehe)

Starting ∀ Gundam atm, umm I thought loran was a girl......
First ep, no gundams or mechas, second ep a gundam with a mustache (the ∀ Gundam) and questionable MSs. But anyway the storyline seems interesting as hell.

Have you seen the Endless Waltz versions of the main Gundams?  They're pretty cool.  Design-wise though, you'll probably have to blame Wing's age; the designs were in line with the audiences of the time, just like how modern SEED Gundams would probably look really weird to a Gundam fan from the 1980s.  :p

Turn-A is really really weird - don't expect it to be anything like a typical Gundam series, although it's highly regarded (Tomino's favourite Gundam series).
