Quote
RON Barassi has called for Australia Day to be moved to May to commemorate the day Aborigines were given equal citizenship rights.

He said it was wrong to celebrate the day of the European invasion of Australia when "we took" this land from Aborigines.

I don't know. Isn't the point of Australia to deny all the more questionable times in its history and pretend that nothing bad ever happened?

Political correctness can be taken to the extreme. But how do we define the extreme?

Political correctness can be taken to the extreme. But how do we define the extreme?

You apply it on a case by case basis. There is no need for a general definition that attempts to please every situation.

Or we can have another public holiday =D

Win/win, I say.
