Anyone adjudicating in 2009?

I have my training session with DAV on this Saturday. After that I should be qualified to adjudicate in the DAV.

Probably. I adjudicated a couple of debates while I was in Melbourne on a break from uni. Then, just last month I went up to Shepparton to adjudicate a 3 round competition (all on the same day. I felt sorry for the kids, one debate for me is enough) which paid alright. I'm not very involved in the DAV, but I don't mind adjudicating. It's easiest when the two teams have clearly had little experience in debating because then you actually have stuff to say to them in terms of improvement and it's also usually more obvious which team was the victor.

Don't mind me asking, but how did you guys get involved with adjudication for DAV?
I am kinda interested seeing that I have been debating in DAV comps for a few years now... XD

dammmmnnnnn, not to sounds arrogant but we'll most likely win the regional finals so make sure you come to the play off roundsssssssssssssss
