Bushfires

Well our rural shire is being ravaged by bush fires, four towns surrounding ours are under threat from bush fires with some towns already losing houses to the fires. We are hoping to god that it doesn't come back and come towards us otherwise we are in serious trouble.

I took a few pictures as I was driving home from a french meeting with my phone and then another few when I was at home of a huge ash cloud.

I live in yarra glen, and i could see the flames from my house. It was bad, the township was surrounded with fires everywhere!!! It's seems to have calmed down now tho which is very good.

North East Vic girl here. I'ts very scary stuff at my place, last night we had to evactuate but we came home this morning after the wind took it all elsewhere. Hoping it doesn't come back this way.
Last night at about 2, the sky was just :O, from where I was, the site was just shocking.
A few of my neighbours have lost their property and I hear a couple has lost their lives :( :(

84 now.

I was worried about my high school friend... turns out the fire was 5 minutes away from the house. The family was ready to evacuate, then it started to rain.
Thank God. Hope everyone else is safe
